About

Agustin Gonzalez Garza has been active and influential in the Los Angeles community for over 25 years and has been a leader in the field of inter-cultural communications with a focus on strategic branding, position and marketing communications in the U.S. and internationally. Agustin is a thoughtful leader with an intuitive ability to recognize strategic opportunities and construct ideas that have emotional meaning and functionality. His work has been widely recognized and forms part of the permanent collection of the National Library of Congress. Agustin served as President of AIGA/LA and continues to serve on the Advisory Board. He is a Member of Quórum (The Design Council of Mexico) and serves on the Advisory Board of the Glenn Canyon Foundation, the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival, the Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Design Advisory Steering Committee and the Mayor's Design Advisory Panel. As part of a lifelong interest in anthropology and the role of design as a force for change, Garza travels extensively with a focus on areas where isolated cultures in extreme natural environments struggle to survive and preserve their heritage. Agustin was born and raised in Mexico City.
